Youngshin Kwak / Professor

Color science is a scientific discipline that deals with the “color” we perceive. My main research interests are quantifying the visual perception such as color, texture, and gloss, figuring out how those perceptions influence the human emotion (KamSung in Korean), and then applying that knowledge to the various product developments such as display image quality enhancement and affective lighting development.
